Fresh & healthy Christmas salad

 

Starting Christmas dinner with a fresh, healthy salad? You can with this simple recipe that is delicious for both children and adults. With many healthy ingredients and a dressing that is super healthy because of the Superfood .

 

Christmas salatIngredients (about 4 servings) 

200gr mixed salad

200gr turkey (or tofu, tempeh, chicken)

75gr unsalted cashews

150gr strawberries and/or blueberries

75gr dried cranberries

100ml Greek yoghurt

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 scoop Kids Superfood Berry
 
Mix the yogurt with the Kidz Superfood and balsamic vinegar (this is the dressing for the salad ). Bake the turkey in a few minutes and cut it in beautiful slices.
Arrange the mixed salad on a plate with the dried cranberries and the strawberries and/or blueberries. Place the turkey (cold or warm) onto the salad and garnish with cashews. Dress the salad with the yogurt dressing. Enjoy!


 







Amazing Grass Oatmeal Pancakes''

 
1/3 cup oatmeal
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Green SuperFood powder
½ ripe mashed banana
Cinnamon to taste
 

Mix the oatmeal and 2 eggs with the Amazing Grass powder, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the mashed banana to the batter. Heat a pan on the stove and spray with non-stick spray or oil. Pour batter into skillet over medium heat. Bake for 3 minutes or until light brown, carefully turn the pancake. When the pancake is cooked, remove it from the pan and serve. Serve with fresh fruit and drizzle with honey, syrup or warm butter.
 

 Christmas cookies

Puff pastry: preferably wholemeal variant 
1 to 2 apples
Handful of blueberries
Honey or maple syrup
cinnamon Powder
1 serving Green Superfood (Berry, Original or ORAC)
 
Put the dough on baking paper to thaw. Preheat the oven to 180C.
 
Peel the apple(s) and cut it into small pieces. Put the apple pieces, along with the berries in a saucepan and heat to a thick jam appears. Remove from heat and let cool. Season to taste with cinnamon and add honey or maple syrup and add the Green Superfood.
 
Use a nice cutter, such as a Christmas tree. Put a little filling in the center of the pastry and place a second puff pastry shape on top. You can make some decorations, but not necessarily. Use an egg yolk over the Christmas Cookies for a nice golden color.

Approx. 15 min in the oven and enjoy!

Delicious carrot cupcakes (approx. 18 pieces)

Ingredients

250 grams flour (or wholemeal)
200 grams of cane sugar (or honey 250 ml)
2 scoops Amazing Grass Green Superfood Original
200 ml of sunflower oil
3 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
300 grams carrots, finely grated
2 teaspoons cinnamon
150 grams chopped nuts: hazelnut or walnut (optional)
 
Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, with a fork. Beat the eggs with a whisk and add this together with the oil to the dry mixture. Mix the mixture with a spatula. Stir the grated carrots and nuts into the batter with a spatula or wooden spoon. Fill cupcake tins 2/3 full. Bake the cupcakes about 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 175 degrees. 

   


Healthy apple muffins (about 14 large or 20 small pieces)

Ingredients
-360 grams wholemeal flour
-1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
-1 / 2 teaspoon salt
-2 teaspoons cinnamon
-1 or 2 scoops Amazing Grass Original
-The whites of 3 eggs
-150 ml (skim) milk
-6 tablespoons vegetable oil
-6 tablespoons honey
-2 Apples, chopped
-80 grams raisins
 
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celcius. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl mix the milk, oil, honey, apple pieces and raisins. Beat the egg 
separate lightly, and then carefully spoon the egg whites into the liquid mixture. Then add this to the dry ingredients and mix gently with a fork until a firm batter. Fill greased molds 2/3 of the batter. Let the muffins bake 20 minutes until they are browned.

 

 

Nutritious, delicious, banana-oatmeal muffins (12 pieces)

Ingredients
180 grams self raising flour,
Stevia or honey at taste
2 to 3 scoops of Green or Kidz SuperFood (original or chocolate)
100 grams of oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
180 ml of milk
1 egg
80 ml of sunflower oil
3 ripe bananas
 
Set the oven to 200C. Mash the bananas fine. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
In another bowl mix the milk, oil, bananas and egg.
Stir the wet into the dry ingrediets with a wooden spoon.
Scoop them into muffin molds and bake 18-20 minutes.

Mix the following ingredients in a bowl:
¼ cup oatmeal
1 cup (soy) milk
¼ cup fat-free yogurt
¼ cup fresh or frozen berries
½ banana
1 tablespoon Amazing Grass Green SuperFood powder 



 

 

Super Food Green Tea Pomegranate Sorbet
Zach Berry
Boil 350 cl water and make green tea of it.
Add 200 cl pomegranate syrup to the water and mix with ½ cup of Amazing Grass Green Superfood Berry and freeze this.

 

 


Kidz SuperFood Crispy Chewies
1 cup brown rice syrup
¼ cup peanut butter
¼ cup almond butter
3 cups crispy brown rice breakfast cereal
4 tablespoons Amazing Grass Kidz Superfood

Warm in a large pan brown rice syrup and nut butters over low heat until it is creamy.
Remove from heat and stir the Kidz SuperFood, add crunchy cereal and stir until well coated.
Cover the bottom of a square browniepan and let it harden.
 


 
Kidz SuperFood Chocolate Craving Brownies
1 cup flour or rice flour
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ teaspoon baking soda
¾ cup cocoa powder
Amazing Grass Kidz ½ cup Chocolate
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 ½ cups boiling water or 1 cup boiling water plus ½ cup strong coffee, or 1 ½ cups of strong coffee
1 cup mayonnaise (dairy or non-dairy)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Preheat the oven to 170C. Apply a thin layer of oil to the bottom of a square pan.
Whisk the flour, sugar and baking powder into a bowl and set it to one side. 
In another bowl mix the cocoa, cinnamon and Kidz SuperFood. Add boiling water and / or hot coffee and beat vigorously to resolve any lumps in the cocoa. Add mayonnaise and vanilla and beat until smooth.
 
Combine the wet chocolate mixture with the flour mixture and pour into the pan. Bake until a toothpick you can and stabbing it back clean. This takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

Amazing Grass Green Machine Smoothie

A delicious snack or meal any time of day.
1 banana
¼ cup raspberries or strawberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup apple juice, orange juice or cranberry juice
¼ cup water and / or ice
¼ cup low-fat yogurt
1 tablespoon Amazing Grass Green SuperFood powder
Mix all ingredients until smooth and drinkable smoothie.
 
 
Chocolate Banana Smoothie
2 scoops Chocolate Green SuperFood
2 cups rice milk, soy milk or cow milk
¼ cup yogurt
1 banana
 
 
Truffle Raspberry Smoothie
For good health
1 scoop of Chocolate Green SuperFood
300 ml of apple juice
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
Put in blender, mix and enjoy!
 
 
Berry Green Smoothie
Angela
1 cup regular soy milk
1 cup low-fat or fat-free, organic vanilla yogurt
A large handful of blueberries, strawberries or Rasberries
1 heaping scoop Green SuperFood
Two ice cubes
Mix all ingredients until smooth and drinkable smoothie. Delicious and filling.
 
 
Kidz Gone Bananas
1 scoop of Amazing Grass Kidz SuperFood chocolate (or more to taste)
1 fresh banana and ½ cup ice
A cup of soy milk, rice milk, or any other dairy product of milk
Put in blender and mix on medium 1-2 minutes until smooth.
 
 
Amazing Chunky Monkey Smoothie
2 scoops Amazing Grass Kidz SuperFood chocolate
1 cup chocolate milk (or you can milk, rice, soy or regular milk use a less intense chocolate experience)
1 banana and 3 ice cubes
1/4-1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter (optional)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 cup roasted, salted peanuts (optional)
½ cup banana pasted
Mix the first 5 ingredients until smooth. 
(Amounts can be adjusted to taste. Mix then with the remaining ingredients and serve in a nice glass. It should be enough for 2 to 4 servings, serve immediately.
